AMG Performance Media (APM) 

AMG Performance Media, by Mercedes-AMG combines numerous telemetric displays such as various engine data, lateral and linear acceleration, lap times with high-speed mobile internet connectivity. Many of the functions of AMG Performance Media were inspired by motor racing.

Working alongside the developers we created the user-experience that fit the performance-oriented driver and within COMMAND’s Android ecosystem. The $2,500 option captures the essence of Mercedes-AMG and visualizes the advanced telematics into a driver-friendly format that helps improve driving skills.

Features included: 

• Real-time display of lateral and linear acceleration and braking/accelerator performance 

• Recording of individual lap times, with sector times and memory function 

• Real-time display of acceleration time from 0-100 km/h (alternatively: quarter-mile) 

• Real-time display of engine oil, coolant and transmission fluid temperature 

• Real-time display of engine output, torque and accelerator
